Job description

The AEMS Strategy and Development Team is where tech meets energy.

Think of it as the go-to crew that connects our suppliers with the systems we use to manage energy across the network. They make sure everything works as it should—meeting technical specs and business needs—while keeping communication flowing between teams.

You’ll get to work alongside experts in engineering and delivery, helping shape new features and making sure systems roll out smoothly. It’s a great place to build your skills, work on real projects, and be part of something that’s driving the future of energy.

What you’ll be doing

  • Support the implementation of Advanced Energy Management Systems (AEMS) solutions
  • Collaborate with Engineering & Standards and Delivery & OAM (Operations, Administration, and Maintenance) teams
  • Develop roadmap requirements and delivery specifications
  • Ensure smooth delivery of orchestration systems

What’s in it for you

  • Hands-on experience with cutting-edge energy management systems
  • Opportunities to shape digital strategy and infrastructure
  • Mentorship and professional development
  • A collaborative and inclusive work environment
  • Gain hands-on experience across both our office and site environments. While training is primarily office or site-based, you’ll enjoy increasing flexibility as you move beyond the programme and into your career.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
