Job description

When you join, you’ll start working towards the ATT-CTA qualification. As an Apprentice you'll get involved with client work as part of a supportive and inclusive team. Our apprentices have the opportunity to work with a diverse clientele representing various industry sectors, giving you a well-rounded experience. We prioritise your growth by providing you with a mentor and training manager throughout the programme

What does our Tax Disputes & Disclosures team do?

  • Assisting with the preparation of tax computations for individuals and companies. Preparing tax disclosure reports.
  • Assisting more senior colleagues in gathering information and communicating with clients on routine matters.
  • Communicating with HM Revenue and Customs on behalf of clients where authorised to do so.
  • Helping with the client onboarding process where required.
  • Undertaking routine tasks as required by senior members of the team.
  • Accompanying senior members of the team on phone calls/ meeting with clients.

What we are looking for

  • Individuals who are collaborative and eager to take on new challenges
  • A minimum of a 2:2 undergraduate degree in any degree discipline
  • Minimum of 2 x A levels (A-C) and one other A level or equivalent
  • 5 GCSEs grades A*-C or 9-4 (including Maths and English Language or equivalent)
  • Ability to absorb new information and adapt quickly
  • Comfortable working with numbers and demonstrating strong attention to detail
  • Clear and thoughtful written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to explain financial information in an accessible and supportive manner
