Professional Career Support

Our students benefit from a range of tailored support services, including:

  • Zone29 – our flagship enterprise and careers centre, connecting you with jobs, placements, career coaching, events and tools for professional growth. The new building opens in Spring 2026.
  • Mentoring schemes – individual and group sessions with experienced professionals.
  • Personal tutors – guiding your academic progress and personal development.

Postgraduate courses

We offer over 100 postgraduate part-time and full-time courses across a wide range of subjects, many of which are professionally accredited. Courses start in January and September.

Outstanding career support

Opening in 2026, Zone29 will be the new destination for career and enterprise success at Westminster. It is a vibrant, inclusive hub, both physical and digital, that connects students with the world of business and the wider community.

Here, you will find the practical support you need from the Careers Service, with advice on CVs, applications and interviews, as well as access to networking and mentoring opportunities. You will also be able to explore a wide range of opportunities with employers, from part-time roles and placements to volunteering and graduate jobs. In addition, you can access enterprise support to help you develop entrepreneurial skills, explore business ideas and even start your own venture.

You can access all these services for to three years after graduation. Industry-standard facilities

The University of Westminster invests significant sums to create exceptional spaces for learning, sport and the arts. Facilities include a cutting-edge digital Fabrication Laboratory, Bloomberg Financial Market Suites and professional-level TV, film, fashion and photography studios. Across our campuses, students also enjoy libraries, gyms, cafes, prayer and quiet rooms and advanced IT services.

Accommodation

We can help you find the accommodation, whether you decide to live in our halls of residence or in private housing. Full-time postgraduates can apply for our Central London or Harrow halls, with mostly single en-suite rooms and shared kitchens. Alternatively, private rented housing is available across London.

Funding and scholarships

We offer a range of postgraduate scholarships for both home and international students. Westminster alumni may also be eligible for a 20% discount on tuition fees for selected Master’s courses. Terms and eligibility criteria apply.
