The Hillary Rodham Clinton School of Law has an international reputation and prepares our students for a range of careers that make a difference to society. We provide unique and contemporary education, boosting our students’ prospects with experiential learning opportunities, such as working with our Law Clinic, and placements with a range of key partners.
The School of Social Sciences empowers students to reach their goals through exploring theory and engaging in practical opportunities in the working world. We provide education from experts in their fields, deliver ground-breaking research through renowned research centres, and combine our relationships with partners and industry to offer our students a dynamic learning environment.
Humanities and Social Sciences Research
The faculty seeks to pioneer exciting new approaches to research and innovation in tackling major global challenges and achieve success in international rankings and the UK Research Excellence Framework. We provide a common extensive research and innovation infrastructure to support research in the Schools of Culture and Communication, the Social Sciences, Law and Management.
Funded by the UK research councils, we train postgraduate researchers and develop research impact, and we have developed long-term national and international university collaborations and have invested in strong internal research support structures and support for research integrity.
