Event details

Cameras, Sound and Vision Mixing for Television Production Taster Day

he NFTS offers a unique 12-month MA in Cameras, Sound and Vision Mixing for Television Production, where students specialise in one of these three craft skills in order to prepare them for a successful future in multi-camera studio production:

  • Cameras for Television Production
  • Sound for Television Production
  • Vision Mixing for Television Production

The course runs in partnership with Sky Studios, the largest pay - TV broadcaster in the United Kingdom, who host two of the modules and provide a six-week internship at their headquarters in London, as part of the course. Sky guarantees to employ at least one graduate of the course each year on a 3-month contract.

Students will collaborate with those in other specialisations to shoot TV shows in our state-of-the-art 4K TV studio – with all production costs met by the School.

If you are interested in this course, then we would like to invite you to visit the NFTS on Wednesday 25th June to see the facilities, and to hear about this MA and how the three craft skills work with each other. You will also be able to see the current students shooting a gameshow in the TV studio, which will be using our new Virtual Production Wall.
