We have an exciting opportunity for a Transformation Graduate to join our Transformation and Change Directorate and gain invaluable experience across various services. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering the Council’s Transformation Programme, which involves project management, internal and external communications, and organisational development.

As a Transformation Graduate, you will rotate through different services within the Directorate, gaining hands-on experience and providing essential support to deliver our Council Plan and Transformation Programme. You will have the opportunity to lead specific projects, contribute to the implementation of key strategies and plans and support transformation reviews. Building strong relationships with colleagues will be crucial, as collaborative problem-solving and learning from and sharing innovative practices are key. We are looking for someone with strong research and analysis skills who can present complex data in a clear visual format.

We will support you through a higher education qualification (to be identified dependant on qualifications of post holder).

What we are looking for

  • Undergraduate degree at a minimum of 2:2
  • Level 2 English and maths (equivalent to GCSE grades 9 to 4 or A* to C)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills both verbal and written
  • Excellent IT skills including Microsoft 365
  • Ability to analyse, interpret and present complex ideas and information in a structured and readily understood manner
  • Excellent planning and organisation skills, with the ability to work across a range of projects at once and to be able to prioritise effectively
  • Experience of presenting information in all appropriate formats
  • Experience of working as part of a team
  • Experience of and ability to plan and prioritise workload to meet planned outcomes and deadlines
