Data Intern

Job description

We are seeking an intern (12 month fixed term) to join our committed Governance, Risk and Assurance team. Reporting to the Data Quality & Performance Manager you will provide wide ranging support to help provide data assurance across the full range of performance measures in addition to ad hoc analysis projects, helping to identify trends and insights that inform decision-making.

What we are looking for

In addition to good educational attainment (degree in data analytics or a related field) our ideal intern will have:

  • Basic experience with data management and analysis, gained through studies,projects, or personal initiatives
  • Intermediate or better capability with Excel.
  • An analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines while working to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to explain data findings in a clear and accessible manner.
  • Positive “can do” attitude with a commitment to providing a high standard of customer service
  • An appreciation of difference and treats all people with dignity and respect.
