The role
Over our 24 month scheme, you’ll gain hands on experience in our Supply Chain, learning what it takes to plan, make, and deliver award-winning, world-famous food products. You’ll rotate across key functions Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Technical and Procurement..
You’ll not only learn the fundamentals of Food Manufacturing and Supply Chain management, but also discover a rich, diverse, and forward-thinking sector which plays an important role in feeding the nation. You need to be willing to take ownership for achieving results through others, think on your feet and not be afraid to ‘roll your sleeves up’. Some key responsibilities you are likely to gain are to:
- Supervise and achieve outcomes through enthusiastic production teams.
- Analyse data and use it to resolve issues in real time.
- Contribute to operational and strategic development projects.
- Ensure products meet exact quality and industry-leading Health and Safety standards.
- Enhance and optimise operational performance.
- Participate in Supply Chain investment projects focusing on technology, safety, and environmental improvements.
- Support sustainability initiatives and improve our carbon footprint.
- Navigate ambiguity with confidence and curiosity.
- Challenge the thinking of others.
